About King Abdullah University KAUST

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology KAUST is a modern Saudi university devoted to research and graduate studies, located in Thuwal, on the shore of the Red Sea, north of Jeddah, in western Saudi Arabia. Its area is estimated at about 36 million square meters, and it is the largest university city in the world. The study began on September 5, 2009 AD and was officially opened on September 23, 2009 AD on the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the first coeducational university in Saudi Arabia.

The university was announced for the first time during the visit of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the city of Taif on July 22, 2006, during a speech addressed to the people of the city, which included an announcement about the start of a pioneering project of the future projects, which is the University of Science and Technology. On October 21, 2007, King Abdullah laid the foundation stone for the university and announced in his speech the establishment of an endowment, the proceeds of which would be spent on the university. The faculty includes 166 professors, ten scientific majors, and ten research centers.

The VSRS 2021 Internship Program (Visiting Student Research) is an opportunity for exceptionally qualified international students from around the world.

VSRP funded an international research training program in Saudi Arabia at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. 130 training programs are available each year to students from all over the world.

The 2021 International Research Training Program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST VSRP) is fully funded for young students from around the world to undertake research training at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia.
The VSRP Research Program offers internships in multiple fields for all Bachelor’s / Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students who are currently in their third year or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree or those enrolled in a Master’s degree.

Standards and conditions:

Candidates must meet the following criteria to take advantage of this opportunity. Whereas, every year, KAUST accepts around 130 male and female trainees for VSRP training annually.
Eligible Countries: Students of any nationality are eligible to apply.

Conditions for applying for KAUST scholarships and fellowships

  1. Third-year students with a Bachelor’s degree or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree
  2. Students enrolled in master’s degrees.
  3. Strong English language skills

training time:

The training period ranges between three (3) months and six (6) months.

  2. A list of multiple internship programs is presented. You have to choose the internship program you wish to apply for and complete your form.
