Eligibility Criteria for American University in  Dubai Scholarships

Undergraduate Eligibility Requirements:

Eligibility requirements for undergraduate studies:

  • His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Scholarship:
  • Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 90% in high school.
  • It is necessary to prove financial need.
  • Open to all nationalities and undergraduate programmes.

Gebran Tueni Media Scholarship:

  • The applicant must be of Lebanese nationality with academic excellence in high school.
  • Submit a portfolio showcasing creative work.
  • A qualifying interview will be conducted by the admission committee at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.

Mohammed bin Rashid College of Communications Scholarship:

  • An Arab citizen applying for a bachelor’s program in communications in the Arabic language.
  • A grade point average of at least 90% in high school.
  • Submitting a creative work portfolio and conducting a qualifying interview at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.

William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship at AUD:

  • United States citizens enrolled as full-time students at accredited four-year universities.
  • Excellent academic achievement is expected.
  • Preference for those with exposure to Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures.

ICT Funds Scholarship:

  • Open to UAE nationals applying for electrical or computer engineering programmes.
  • A good academic grade in high school and the age must not be more than 24 years.
  • Must have no criminal convictions.

 Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Start-up Grant:

  • For Emirati citizens with a grade of no less than 80% in high school.
  • Must pass written tests and personal interviews.
  • Commitment to work at DEWA after graduation and availability of medical fitness and good character.

AUD Scholarship for Seniors:

  • Achievement of “top standing” in the undergraduate programme.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
